WORSHIP IN SONG:        WE PRAISE YOU, JESUS (by Kenny & Lindsey Drain)

We praise You, Jesus, we praise You, Lord; We sing songs of freedom, we dance with joy.

You've taken our weeping and turned it into dancing; Taken our heaviness away, far away.

(1991 Integrity's Hosanna! Music)

I'LL FLY AWAY  (by Albert E. Brumley)  verses 1 & 3

Some glad morning when this life is o'er, I'll fly away.  To a home on God's celestial shore, I'll fly away.

I'll fly away O glory I'll fly away.  When I die Hallelujah by and by I'll fly away!

Just a few more wary days and then I'll fly away.  To a land where joys shall never end, I'll fly away.

I'll fly away O glory I'll fly away.  When I die Hallelujah by and by I'll fly away!   (1932 Hartford Music Co.)

SWING LOW, SWEET CHARIOT  (arr. Wm. Smith)   verses 1 & 3

Chorus:  Swing low, sweet chariot, comin' for to carry me home;

Swing low, sweet chariot, comin' for to carry me home.

I looked over Jordan, and what did I see? comin' for to carry me home?

A band of angels comin' after me, comin' for to carry me home.  (Chorus)

I'm sometimes up, and sometimes down, comin' for to carry me home;

but still my soul is glory bound, comin' for to carry me home. (Chorus)  (1989 The United Methodist Pub. House)

WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN

OPENING PRAYER

HOLY, HOLY, HOLY! LORD GOD ALMIGHTY   (by Reginald Heber)

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.

Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty, God in three persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;

cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee, which wert, and art, and ever more shalt be.

Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide thee, though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see,

only thou art holy; there is none beside thee, perfect in power, in love and purity.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!  All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth and sky and sea.

Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty, God in three persons, blessed Trinity.  (Public Domain)

SEEK YE FIRST  (by Karen Lafferty)

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,

and all these things shall be added unto you Allelu, alleluia!

Ask and it shall be given unto you; Seek and ye shall find;

Knock, and the door shall be opened unto you.  Allelu, alleluia!  (Maranatha Music)

LORD, I THIRST FOR YOU (by Gary Sadler)

Lord, I thirst for You, I long to be in Your presence; My soul will wait on You,

Father, draw me nearer, draw me nearer to the beauty of Your holiness.

I will wait for You, Almighty God, in the beauty of Your holiness;

I will worship You, Almighty God, in the beauty of Your holiness.  (1993 Integrity's Hosanna! Music)

BRINGING OUR NEEDS TO GOD (Prayers of the People)

PRAYER RESPONSE:  IN HIS TIME (by Diane Ball)
