LITURGICAL DANCE “Day by Day”
WORSHIP IN SONG: SING
WITH ALL THE SAINTS IN GLORY (by Wm. Irons)
Sing with all the saints in glory, sing the resurrection song! Death and sorrow, earth's dark story,
to the former days belong. All around the clouds are breaking, soon the storms of time shall cease;
in God's likeness we, awaking, know
the everlasting peace.
O what glory, far exceeding all that eye has yet perceived! Holiest hearts, for ages pleading,
never that full joy conceived. God has promised, Christ prepares it, there on high our welcome waits.
Every humble spirit shares it; Christ has passed th'eternal gates.
Life eternal! heaven rejoices: Jesus lives, who once was dead. Join we now the deathless voices;
child of God, lift up your head! Patriarchs from the distant ages, saints all longing for their heaven,
prophets, psalmists, seers, and
sages, all await the glory given.
Life eternal! O what wonders crowd on faith; what joy unknown, when, amidst earth's closing thunders,
saints shall stand before the throne! O to enter that bright portal, see that glowing firmament;
know, with thee, O God Immortal,
"Jesus Christ whom thou has sent!" (Public
Domain)
SOON AND VERY SOON (By
Andre Crouch)
Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King; soon and
very soon, we are going to see the King;
soon and very soon, we are going to
see the King. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We're going to see the King.
No more dying there...
No more crying there... (1978 Communique Music)
I'LL FLY AWAY (by Albert E. Brumley)
Some glad morning when this life is o'er, I'll fly away. To a home on God's celestial shore, I'll fly away.
I'll fly away O glory I'll fly away. When I die Hallelujah by and by I'll fly
away!
When the shadows of this life have grown, I'll fly away. Like a bird from Prison bars has flown, I'll fly away.
I'll fly away O glory I'll fly away. When I die Hallelujah by and by I'll fly
away!
Just a few more wary days and then I'll fly away. To a land where joys shall never end, I'll fly away.
I'll fly away O glory I'll fly away. When I die Hallelujah by and by I'll fly
away! (1932 Hartford Music Co.)
OPENING PRAYER
THE STEADFAST LOVE OF THE LORD (by Edith McNeill)
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end.
They are new every morning, new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness, O Lord. Great is Thy faithfulness.
(1974, 1975 Celebration)
IN YOUR PRESENCE, O GOD (by Lynn DeShazo)
Chorus: In Your
presence, that’s where I am strong, in Your presence,
O Lord, my God;
In Your presence, that’s where I belong, seeking Your face, touching Your grace,
in
the cleft of the Rock in Your presence, O God.
I want to go where the rivers cannot overflow me, where my feet are on a Rock;
I want to hide where the blazing fire cannot burn me, in Your presence, O God. (chorus)
I want to hide where the flood of evil cannot reach me, where I’m covered by Your blood;
I want to be where the schemes of darkness cannot touch me,
in Your presence, O God. (chorus)
Bridge: You are my firm foundation, I trust in You all day long; I am Your child and Your servant,
and You are my strength and my son,
You’re my song. (1995 Integrity’s Hosanna! Music)
BE STILL, MY SOUL (by Katharina von Schlegel)
Be still, my soul: the Lord is on your side. Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
leave to your God to order and provide; in every change God faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul: your best, your heavenly friend through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.
Be still, my soul: your God will undertake to guide the future, as in ages past.
Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake; all now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know the Christ who ruled them while he dwelt below.
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on when we shall be forever with the Lord,
when disappointment, grief, and fear are gone, sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul:
when change and tears are past, all safe and blessed we shall meet at
last.

When I look into Your holiness, when I gaze into your loveliness,
When all things that surround become shadows in the light of

When all things that surround become shadows in the light of
