WORSHIP IN SONG: I WILL REJOICE  (by Jill LeBlanc)

I will rejoice and be glad in the God of my salvation; I will rejoice and be glad all days, all the days of my life.

For you, O Lord, have made me glad by all that You have done;

You've given me the victory, my battles all are won.    (1987 Integrity's Hosanna! Music)

LOOK AND SEE THE GLORY OF THE KING (by Martin Ball)

Chorus:  Look, and see the glory of the King, sense the presence of the Lord amongst His people;

 feel Him fill the temple of our lives as He sits upon the throne of our praise.

We are His church, we are all God’s own people; we all proclaim that He is King, He is King.  (chorus)

At God’s right hand, Jesus Christ is exalted; His rule is now and shall be forever more.  (chorus)

(1982 Integrity’s Hosanna! Music)

HOW GREAT IS YOUR GOODNESS (by Ed Kerr)

How great is Your goodness, stored up for those who fear You;

No end to the kindness that comes from You each day.

We count on compassion in the shelter of Your presence;

Hidden away, hidden from harm, how great Your love,

hidden away, hidden from harm, how great Your love.   (1993 Integrity's Hosanna! Music)

NO, NOT ONE!  (By George C. Hugg)

There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus, No, not one!  no, not one!

None else could heal all our soul’s diseases, No, not one! no, not one!

Jesus knows all about our struggles,  He will guide ‘til the day is done;

There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus, No, not one! no, not one!

No friend like Him is so high and holy, No, not one! no, not one!

And yet no friend is so meek and lowly, No, not one! no, not one!

There’s not an hour that He is not near us, No, not one! no, not one!

No night so dark but His love can cheer us, No, not one! no, not one!

Did ever saint find this friend forsake him?  No, not one! no, not one!

Or sinner find that He would not take him?  No, not one! no, not one!

Was e’er a gift like the Savior given?  No, not one! no, not one!

Will He refuse us a home in heaven?  No, not one! no, not one!   (Public Domain)

PRAYER OF CONFESSION:

Lord Jesus Christ, you are the way of peace.  Come into the brokenness of our lives and our land with your healing love.  Help us to be willing to bow before you in true repentance, and to bow to one another in real forgiveness.  By the fire of your Holy Spirit, melt our hard hearts and consume the pride and prejudice which separates us.  Fill us, O Lord, with your perfect love which casts out our fear, and bind us together in that unity which you share with the Father and the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

MORE PRECIOUS THAN SILVER  (by Lynn DeShazo)

Lord, You are more precious than silver.  Lord, You are more costly than gold.

Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds and nothing I desire compares with You.

(1982 Integrity's Hosanna! Music)

AGNUS DEI   (By Michael W. Smith)

Alleluia, alleluia, for the Lord God Almighty reigns.  Alleluia, for the Lord God Almighty reigns.  Alleluia.

PRAYER RESPONSE:  PERFECT PEACE (by David Winnes)

You will keep those in perfect peace, whose minds are set on You.  You will keep those in perfect peace,

whose minds are set on You.  Because we trust in You, Oh Lord, because we trust in You.

You will keep those in perfect peace, whose minds are set on You.   (1978 His Eye Music)

WORSHIP IN GIVING: Offering

SHARING THE WORD:  Scripture:        Romans 5:1-5

                                                  Message:                “We’re Moving On”                                        Pastor Steve Donat

SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION - The congregation is invited to receive Communion at the Communion rails.  Come forward when you are ready, and receive the Communion elements with joy.

These symbols represent the Body and Blood of Jesus offered for our forgiveness and new life.  The invitation to receive comes from Jesus himself, and is not based on membership in this or any other Church.  While you are waiting for your place at the Communion rail, take advantage of this quiet time to meditate, and offer your personal prayer and praise to God.

CLOSING SONG     TAKE MY LIFE (by Scott Underwood)

Holiness, holiness is what I long for.  Holiness is what I need.

Holiness, holiness is what You want from me.

Faithfulness, faithfulness is what I long for. Faithfulness is what I need.

Faithfulness, faithfulness is what You want from me.

So take my heart; conform it. Take my mind; transform it.

Take my will; conform it to Yours, to Yours, oh Lord.

Righteousness, righteousness is what I long for.  Righteousness is what I need.

Righteousness, righteousness is what You want from me.

So take my heart; conform it. Take my mind; transform it.

Take my will; conform it to Yours, to Yours, oh Lord.

Oh, so take my heart; conform it.  Take my mind; transform it.

Take my will; conform it to Yours, to Yours, oh Lord, to Yours, to Yours, oh Lord.

Yes, take my heart; conform it.  Take my mind; transform it.  Take my will; conform it to Yours,

to Yours, oh Lord, to Yours, to Yours, oh Lord, to Yours, to Yours, oh Lord, to Yours, to Yours, oh Lord.  (1995 Mercy/Vineyard Publishing)
