WORSHIP IN SONG: CELEBRATE JESUS (by Gary Oliver)
Celebrate Jesus,
celebrate. Celebrate Jesus, celebrate.
Celebrate Jesus, celebrate.
He is risen, He is risen, and
He lives forevermore. He is risen, He is risen;
come on and celebrate the
resurrection of our Lord. (1988 Integrity's Hosanna! Music)
CHRIST THE LORD IS RISEN TODAY (Charles
Wesley) Verses 1-4
Christ the Lord is risen
today, Alleluia! Earth and heaven in
chorus say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia! Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!
Love's redeeming work is
done, Alleluia! Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids him rise, Alleluia! Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious
King, Alleluia! Where, O death, is now
thy sting? Alleluia!
Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia! Where’s thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!
Soar we now where Christ has
led, Alleluia! Following our exalted
Head, Alleluia!
Made like him, like him we
rise, Alleluia! Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia! (Public
Domain)
SEE WHAT A MORNING (Resurrection Hymn) (by Stuart Townend & Keith Getty) (2002
Thankyou Music)
See what a morning gloriously
bright with the dawning of hope in Jerusalem;
folded the grave clothes,
tomb filled with light as the angels announce Christ is risen!
See God’s salvation plan, wrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice fulfilled in Christ the Man for He lives Christ is risen from the dead.
See Mary weeping, “Where is
He laid?” As in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb;
hears a voice speaking,
calling her name; it’s the Master, the Lord raised to life again!
The voice that spans the years,
speaking life, stirring hope, bringing peace to us,
will sound till He appears, for He lives, Christ is risen from the dead.
One with the Father, Ancient
of Days, through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty,
honour and blessing, glory
and praise to the King crowned with power and authority!
And we are raised with Him,
death is dead, love has won, Christ has conquered;
and we shall reign with Him, for He lives, Christ is risen from the dead.
*OPENING PRAYER
Lord,
this is what we’ve come here for today: as those first people who arrived at
your empty tomb, to rise from our sorrows to find you standing there,
comforting, welcoming, and amazing us;
to
find you powerfully present – alive in our midst. Fill our souls so full of your Holy Spirit, Lord, that our lives
will shine as bright beacons to those who still seek you. Halleluia! Amen.
BE STILL FOR THE PRESENCE (by David Evans) (1986
Thankyou Music)
Be still, for the presence of
the Lord, the Holy One is here. Come,
bow before Him now,
with reverence and fear. In Him no sin is found, we stand on holy
ground.
Be still, for the presence of
the Lord, the Holy One is here.
Be still, for the glory of
the Lord is shining all around. He
burns with holy fire,
with splendour He is
crowned. How awesome is the sight, our
radiant King of Light!
Be still, for the glory of
the Lord is shining all around.
Be still, for the power of
the Lord is moving in this place. He
comes to cleanse and heal,
to minister His grace. No work too hard for Him, in faith receive
from Him,
Be still, for the power of the Lord is moving in this place.
ALL HEAVEN DECLARES (By
Noel & Tricia Richards)
(1987,1997 Thankyou Music)
All heav’n declares the glory
of the risen Lord. Who can compare with the beauty of the Lord?
Forever He will be the Lamb upon the throne; I gladly bow my knee and worship Him alone.
I will proclaim the glory of
the risen Lord. Who once was slain to reconcile us to God;
Forever You will be the Lamb upon the throne; I gladly bow my knee and worship You alone.
AGNUS DEI (By Michael W.
Smith) (1990 Sony/ATV Tune
LLC)
Alleluia, alleluia, for the Lord God Almighty reigns. Alleluia, for the Lord God Almighty reigns. Alleluia. Holy, holy are You, Lord God Almighty. Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb. You are holy, holy. Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb. You are Holy are You, Lord God Almighty

CLOSING SONGS: HE KNOWS MY NAME (by Tommy
Walker)
I have a Maker, He formed my
heart; before even time began, my life was in His hands.
Chorus: He
knows my name, He knows my ev’ry thought;
He sees each tear that falls, and hears me when I call.
I have a Father, He calls me His own; He’ll never leave me, no matter where I go. (chorus)
And He knows your name; He
knows your ev’ry thought;
He sees those tears that
fall, and hears you when you call.

I know He rescued my soul;
His blood has covered my sins. I
