WORSHIP IN SONG: SING A SONG (by Third Day)
I want to sing a song for you, Lord. Lord, for you, I want to sing a song and I want to lift my voice to heaven and listen to the angels sing along. A song of your faithfulness, a song of your grace, and of your loving kindness to the glory of your name. With ev’ry thing that’s in me, Lord, listen to me say:
I want to sing a song for you, I want to sing a song.
I want to live my life for you, Lord. Lord, for you, I want to live my life. And I want to praise the name of Jesus, pray above all things you’re glorified.
A song of your faithfulness, a song of your grace, and of your loving kindness to the glory of your name.
With ev’ry thing that’s in me, Lord, listen to me say: I want to sing a song for you, I want to sing a song.
And I sing about your mercy and I sing about your love; your goodness, Lord, your righteousness I want to sing a song of your faithfulness, a song of your grace, and of your loving kindness to the glory of your name.
With ev’ry thing that’s in me, Lord, listen to me say: I want to sing a song for you, I want to sing a song.
And we’ll sing, “Holy, Holy, Holy.” We’ll sing “Holy, Holy, Holy.” We’ll shout, “Holy, Holy, are you, Lord Almighty!” (and we’ll sing.) “Holy, Holy, Holy.” We’ll sing “Holy, Holy, Holy.”
We’ll shout, “Holy,
Holy, are you, Lord Almighty!” (Repeat 2x) (©2003 Consuming Fire Music)
YOU SHINE (by Brian Doerksen)
Why should I fear man, when You made the heavens; Why should
I be afraid when You put the stars in place; Why should I lose heart when I
know how great You are; Why should I give up when Your plans are full of love;
In this world we will have trouble but You have overcome the world.
Chorus: You shine brighter than the brightest star; Your love, purer than the purest heart;
You shine, filling us with courage and strength to follow You. (Repeat 1st verse and chorus)
In this world we will have trouble but You have overcome the world, You have overcome the world.
(Chorus 2x’s). (WorshipTogether.com)

*PRAYER OF CONFESSION:
God of Easter hope,
grant us the courage to believe in your resurrection miracles. Forgive us when we fall into despair or
blindness. Give us new eyes to truly see
you walking with us, standing beside us, living in our neighborhoods, and
speaking through our friends and our enemies.
Forgive us when we prefer simple answers to prophetic challenges. Forgive us when we cling to old, familiar
ways, and refuse to see the extraordinary miracles you set before us. Open our eyes, that we might see you standing
before us in your resurrected glory, proclaiming the miracle of life and love
that never ends. Amen.
AMAZING GRACE (My Chains Are Gone) (arr. by Chris Tomlin)
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found; was blind but now I see.
‘Twas Grace that taught my heart to fear, and Grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear, the hour I first believed.
Chorus: My chains are gone, I’ve been set free; my
God, my Savior has ransomed me.
And like a flood, His
mercy reigns unending love Amazing Grace.
The Lord has promised good to me, his word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be as long as life endures. (repeat chorus 2x)
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine;
but God who called me here below will be forever mine, will be forever mine, You are forever mine.

BURN IN ME (by Jerry Holman)
(chorus) Burn in me, burn in me, let the fire of the
Holy One burn in me;
Burn in me, burn in
me, let the fire of the Holy One burn in me.
Your words, like a fire, burning in my soul; Burn out the dross, bring forth the gold. (chorus)
You feel like a fire shut up in my bones; Consume me, Lord, make me Your own. (chorus)

the Communion elements with joy.
These symbols represent
the Body and Blood of Jesus offered for our forgiveness and new life. The invitation to receive comes from Jesus
himself, and is not based on membership in this or any other Church.
While you are
waiting for your place at the Communion rail, take advantage of this quiet time
to meditate,
and offer your
personal prayer and praise to God.
(If
you are unable to come forward, let an usher know, and the Elements will be
brought to you).
For
