Stitch & Chat - This class is for those who enjoy spending time with others while Knitting, Crocheting, doing Needlepoint and/or Cross Stitching. There will be guided conversation as well as general conversation. Topics will vary and no topic is off limits. Facilitator: Dianne Donat Class begins September 17 (Prayer Room - F-09)

Disciple 1 - Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study - This is a general survey of the entire bible. The class will look at approximately 70% of the bible during the 34 weeks. The hoped-for results of this study are to develop biblically nourished persons committed to live as disciples. Beyond Disciple 1 - Into the Word Into the World - This study is for folks who are interested in going deeper into the scriptures specifically the Books of Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts and applying them to their everyday life. This 34 week study emphasizes the rhythm of coming to God and going for God, of being in the Word and in the world individually and corporately. Disciple 1 is not a prerequisite. Divorce Care - DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Classes meet for 13 weeks and are designed to assist with the process of change. Facilitators: Mike & Jill Zolty Classes begin September 10th. (Resource Room F-102)
Divorce Care for Kids – DC4K is a special program designed to help children and teens deal with the hurts that arise from divorce. Classes meet for 13 weeks. Facilitators: Nadine Mack & Dierdre Keegan Classes begin September 10th (Room E-204)
Getting to Know the HOLY SPIRIT – This class will be exploring questions regarding the Holy Spirit’s role in our lives. Questions like…What does the Holy Spirit Do? How Can I know the Holy Spirit? How can I share the Spirit? Facilitator: Betsy Heinz classes begin September 17th (Chapel)
Going Deeper in Prayer - This is a general follow-up to our summer prayer series to give us an opportunity for discussion, to ask questions, to share, and learn. Basically to go deeper in our prayer lives together. We’ll talk about various prayer practices, writing prayers, Scripture prayers, and more. This will be a ‘no pressure’ class – we’re going to give opportunities to grow, but we’re not going to force anyone out of their ‘comfort zone’! Worship & Prayer a Full-Body Experience - This class we will explore ways to use movement to communicate with God. Through the book “Dancing into the Anointing”, by Aimee Kovacs, the group will study the scriptural basis of dance as a form of prayer and expression. Teens through adults are welcome, as you are limited only by your own comfort levels. Mats and dividers will be erected to provide comfort and privacy. The emphasis of this group will be on, personal and group prayer, and mediation to enable us to worship as King David before the Lord. 20’s & 30 Something Group – This group will continue to meet in the Library. Anyone (who fits into that age) interested in joining a group for fellowship and a book study are encouraged to join. Classes begin September 17th. Facilitator: Josh Wise
Youth Bible Study – Jr. High & Sr. High Bible Studies are forming again for the Fall Soup & Study Session. All Jr. & Sr. High youth are encouraged to participate in a Bible Study to deepen their relationship with Christ & each other. Classes begin September 17th.
