Work Days
Work days are held in the Spring and Fall. Work day activities include painting, cementing, caulking, washing windows, cleaning out floor beds, trimming shrubs and plants, special projects, to name a few. Do not pass up the opportunity to learn a new skill or test out a rusty one. Relish the wonder of the physical transformation of the Church on the Sunday after Work Day. All have a good time sprucing up the Church and working with members of the FUMC community. This is an intergenerational event; bring the entire family. A special lunch is made for the volunteers.
Landscaping and Gardening
The gardens surrounding the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall provide a special delight and joy to both worshipers and the community. Enjoy the beauty of God's creation and the fellowship of working with fellow gardeners. Volunteers are need to plant and prune, weed and water these gardens.
