LOOKING FOR A WAY TO HELP THE RUMMAGE SALE
but aren’t able to actually be there? How about making some homemade treats to sell at Thursday’s lunch? Cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc. Please wrap in a portion to sell at 50¢. (Cupcakes do not need to be wrapped). If it contains NUTS, please mark accordingly. Have them in the church kitchen by 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 9th. Thank you so much. Questions, Call Cindy Cope (609-267-5325).
USED EYEGLASSES AND SUNGLASSES NEEDED
If you have any used reading glasses, non-prescription UV-protected sunglasses, or non-astigmatism distance glasses that you would otherwise discard, please donate to the box placed in the hallway at the Pleasant Valley entrance (near the food pantry). These glasses will be re-prescribed in India through “United For Sight”, a non-profit organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness. For more information contact Emily Wright at EmWright21(at)gmail.com or 609-636-7374.
FOR ALL WOMEN OF THE CHURCH
Sarah Circle, a fellowship of women committed to growing and serving in Christ, is in the process of restructuring. Current members will be receiving a survey to determine the needs and interests. If you are not currently a member and would like more information, please contact Erin Talbot at talbotme(at)hotmail.com. There is no meeting scheduled for the month of June.
A.M.E. FOOD PANTRY
Please look for items labeled “low salt” (with good expiration dates). We gladly accept non-perishable food which is taken monthly to the Bethel AME Church’s Food Bank. Place food in the first set of white cabinets near the Pleasant Valley entrance.
